FAQs
Does the Goodness Green Prenatal drink replace my prenatal vitamin?
No. While our Goodness Greens drink is full of essential nutrients it does not contain a full prenatal vitamin blend. Think of it like your prenatal vitamins BFF that gives you an extra boost of fruits and veggies that can be hard to get during pregnancy.
How do I know the breakdown of vitamins in your product?
There is not a formulated vitamin blend in our drink except for what may be naturally occurring from the real food ingredients. Meaning each batch changes. It’s like buying a bag of spinach. You're not going to find vit & mineral content on the Nutrition Label as it’s consistently changing with each grow/ batch produced. However, Goodness Greens can be taken with additional vitamins (like your prenatal) and supplements.
How can I change the taste?
Tastes can be fickle and change a lot during pregnancy. We suggest a few options. 1. adding a squeeze of lemon juice 2. Blend with a banana 3. Try milk or juice rather than water. 4. Blend in one of the smoothies from our free 10 Day Prenatal Smoothie Challenge. 5. Drink it later in the day or whenever when nausea is at its low point.
Can I take this green drink with my regular prenatal vitamins?
Yes. It is meant to compliment your prenatal vitamins and give you an extra boost of nutrients you may be lacking. It’ll supply around 2.5 servings of daily fruits and veggies or around 50% of the FDA’s recommended daily intake.
Do I need to take Goodness Greens everyday?
It is recommended to take it everyday to get the best results. As it is made with certified organic ingredients, real food ingredients, it will help increase your daily intake of fruits and vegetables. It stays good for 6 months if it is opened and up to 2 years if it is unopened. A large percentage of pregnant women are not getting enough fruits and veggies for various reasons, so this is a great way to stay on top of your nutritional demands while pregnant.
Can I take my Goodness Greens more than once a day?
Yes. Each scoop is approximately 2.5 servings of fruits and vegetables. Again, it is made with real food ingredients so think of it like eating regular food.
Can I take it while breastfeeding?
Yes, absolutely! We highly recommend it while breastfeeding as it helps increase milk production, energy levels and will help provide an extra boost of nutrients to support the high demands on the body in pregnancy.
I can’t keep up on drinking it everyday, can I postpone my monthly subscription?
Yes, we can set your subscription to any time duration. While our 30 days is most popular, we can also set it for whatever works for you (45,60 or 90). Click here (hyperlink) and let us know if you need to change durations.
My green drink isn’t green, why?
Well, it's not only a green drink, but it has “Reds'' in it as well… As we have organic berries & beet in our formula the color will have more of a dark reddish hue. We focus on bringing pregnant peeps the best ingredients that’ll make a difference in their pregnancy. We’d rather focus on ingredients to make a difference than add artificial colors to make the drink look prettier. We have moms who use stainless steel or non-transparent cups to drink Goodness Greens.
